“Error: please type a comment.”??

I have searched and read all there is available about the above error. “Error: please type a comment.” appears after I write a comment and submit it.

I have found no solution to this so please dont shoot me down if there is already a dedicated page discussing how to solve this problem.

I am running the latest build of WordPress 1.5.2 which I setup for the 1st time on my hosting company called Vortech Inc.

Everything works fine except when adding comments. I have done no modifications to any code and added no plugins.

I have installed a new version on a different domain (but on the same host) and the same error comes up.

If this is worth anything I am running Mambo CMS on the same host (different domains) with no problems.

What am I doing wrong? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
