    Hi
I am getting this error when viewing with pixel helper for addtocart event
Products Are Missing From Your Catalogs
Retargeting ads can’t run for 1 out of 1 product views on this page, because the products people have viewed are missing from your catalogs

I have created the catalog and its showing on my business page. Also, I use the catalog to show my products on the facebook page so its on there active. Also, what is the value for addtocart? Just value? I tried adding it and it shows only the word value..

    Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

    Regarding the catalog:

    1. It must be connected to the same pixel you have on your website. You can check this under “Events data sources”.

    2. The product logic must be identical to the logic on the site. In this case the default WordPress id is used. For variable products, variations must be included in the catalog. If you don’t include variations, check the option to “treat variable products like simple products” from our plugin WooCommerce tab.

Regarding the addtocart value, if all works well, the product price should be outputted. It’s possible to have some conflict with the theme or other plugin. Keep in mind that value is not mandatory for this event.

Update: I’ve just been on your website. Have you by any chance configured an AddToCart event that fires on all your site pages? It looks so to me.

    Remove it!

    1. That event is not correctly configured and will fire across all your website.

    2. We automatically add all WooCommerce events, including AddToCart. They correctly track value as well.

Don’t manually add any WooCommerce event, we add them by default.

    1. Yes, the catalog is on the right pixel and when I go to the catalog at facebook business its in there and showing but its saying no events. Wierd, ill contact facebook…

    2. I actually copy what you have on your docs.. .Just the addtocart is what I kind of not getting figure out.

ohh.. Ok.. removed it… So there’s no need for addtocart to be added? So that will track if theres order?

Before contacting Facebook, do some small testing.

Take one product from your website and search for it inside the catalog. Look for the ID.

Go back on the site, open the same product and check with Pixel Helper the ViewContent event. Click on it and look for the content_ids parameter. It’s value must be the same as the one inside the Product Catalog.

There’s no need to add any WooCommerce events. If you did so, remove them.

    The plugins adds them automatically.

The id seems the same… It shows the last 3 digits on the content id from the pixel helper but for the content id on catalog its shows like this 32603881245_467. So I guess it pulls only the last 3 digits?

Also, I tested the addtocart, its showing but still showing a warning…

    Cheers

So the ID is NOT the same… That’s the problem.

How did you created the Product Catalog? What tool have you used?

Good. Keep that plugin active on your website and open our WooCommerce tab. You’ll see an option to use Facebook for WooComemrce ID logic. Select it and save the settings. This should do it.
