Error ” Pay upon invoice “

    Hi,
    when customers select the payment method: purchase on account with Ratepay (pay upon invoice), this error comes up:

    DEVICE_DATA_NOT_AVAILABLE Device Data is not available for processing this order. The PayPal-Client-Metadata-Id header value sent during Create Order api call is either missing or incorrect or there was an error in collecting required data. Please verify if appropriate value for PayPal-Client-Metadata-Id header is being sent during ‘Create Order’ api call. Please note this error only applies to payment_source.pay_upon_invoice at the moment.

    Otherwise the payment method has always worked great and I have not changed anything in our payment methods in the shop.

    What is this error and what can I do?

    Apologies for the trouble. It looks like there is an issue with the FraudNet library sending incorrect parameters. The team is investigating the cause of the problem and will provide a fix as soon as possible.

    As a temporary workaround, we recommend a downgrade to the previous version 2.0.1.

    It looks like the part of the FraudNet integration relevant for PUI was not loading at all. Could you please give it a try with this linked version and let us know if this resolves the issue for you?

    Hi Niklas,

    unfortunately another problem today. I use the current plugin version 2.0.4.

    This error is shown with:
