    Hello,

    I have the following issue:
    – A (wannabe) vendor has a regular account and completes the vendor registration / applicaton process.
    – A shop manager approves the application, so the vendor actually becomes a vendor.
    – Now the issue: When the vendor now logs in, he gets redirected to the page “…/wp-admin/index.php?page=store-setup”, where he is greeted with an error page: “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”
When the vendor goes back or opens another page, the error disappears and everything works fine. However, it would be nice, if we could circumvent the error situation. ??

Thank you so much for your work and support.

    Best regards
    Matthias

    – Are you using any custom plugin for controlling vendor’s user role capabilities?

Or, disable vendor user role wp-admin access using any third party plugin?

If so, then do not use such things. Control vendor user role capability only using WCFM Capability setting!

    Thank You

    Hello!

I have the “User Role Editor” plugin installed. But the behavior is the same, with or without that plugin. And the vendor generally has access to wp-admin. Can I configure it within WCFM? I even thought I saw the option once, but I cannot find it right now. Can you help me finding it?

Also, I am still not sure if this error is just an issue after the first loading of the page after he got that role. But you cannot reproduce it at all?
Then I might try a fresh installation.

    Thank you and best regards

    – Well, if you have already changed user role using “User Role Editor” plugin then still those will remain after deactivating that plugin. Those changes save in WP user role, and can not be altered.

Can I configure it within WCFM? I even thought I saw the option once, but I cannot find it right now. Can you help me finding it?

    – Control vendor user role capability only using WCFM Admin Dashboard -> Capability setting!

    Hi,

    thank you!
I had the User Role Editor installed for another reason, I never modified the capabilities for vendors.
And I checked in the capability settings for vendors in the WCFM admin dashboard: Vendors have access to everything that is possible. I think I also never modified any of those settings. Default is everything “on”.
Also, it fits that vendors have access, because they can access wp-admin after the once went back to overcome the error page.

    Regards
    Matthias
