ERROR – Original site javascript does not exist

    Hello there,

    It seems like my WordPress got updated automatically to 5.7.2 because I didn’t update it. But I’m not sure when it got updated because cPanel is showing the last modified date of 14 May but I think it’s updated recently because I’ve been facing these problems since 2-3 days.

    One by one, 4 of my sites showed problems. Out of which, 2 sites are not getting fixed. On both of the site, I’m not able to click on the edit link, date, status, and other such elements. When I click on them, nothing happens.

    The same thing is happening in the theme panel page, nothing happens when I click on tabs. On one site, I’m also not able to use tagDiv composer that comes with newspaper theme. It keeps loading infinitely.

    Before WordPress update, I was using a different theme on this site but it broke so I had to switch to newspaper. I’m still in contact with the old theme (publisher) support and they said that “I realized your host is deleting some of the files!
    for example wp-content/themes/publisher/includes/libs/bs-theme-core/attr/core.php
    please share it with them and see if there is any reason that is happening.”

    I’m also not able to quick edit posts from all posts page, when I click on it, the post disappears and starts showing again when I reload.

    Mostly, all such types of buttons are not working at all. It shows this error in developer console:

    Seems like I temporarily fixed the issue, I just installed the Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin and checked the site as mentioned on your FAQ page but it was not working. Then I went into plugin settings and changed jQuery Version from “Default from WordPress” to Legacy 1.12.4-wp and things started to work normally on both sites.

    How do I figure out which plugin or theme was causing this problem so that I can ask the developer for an update?

    My problem with “publisher” theme is still not fixed, any suggestions? I reenabled the theme after jQuery plugin and the site worked for a few seconds then went down again. After enabling debug mode, it says:
