• Server says i’m running PHP versuib us 5.4.45 and when i try to install i get “This plugin requires WordPress 4.0 or greater, and PHP 5.4 or greater. You are currently running WordPress 4.6 and PHP 5.2.17. Please contact your website host or server administrator for more information. The plugin has been deactivated.”

Note the first time i tried it, my WordPress wasn’t up to date. But i’ve since updated and get the same message.

    Delete Plugin and Add back?

Hi @rpaarlberg and sorry for the delayed response.

The error message states that your version of PHP is out of date:

This plugin requires WordPress 4.0 or greater, and PHP 5.4 or greater. You are currently running WordPress 4.6 and PHP 5.2.17

Although you believe you’re running PHP 5.4.45, you’re not, WordPress is definately running under 5.2.17. You may have a .htaccess file or similar installed which is affecting the version of PHP WordPress is running with – you may need to contact your host to determine what’s happening there
