  • Hello,

Does this happen when WC Vendors Marketplace is disabled? We don’t currently hook into the wp-login for registration. We utilise the WooCommerce registration system.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

    Hi @digitalchild

The linking issue is solved – it was an issue with automatic translation in Loco. So that’s fixed.

I managed to find it, but not solve it.

In WC Vendors -> Settings -> General
There’s the first option “Allow users or guests to become sellers” that caused it.
If i untick that one, you can register normally – however, you then can’t apply to become a seller!

If i turn of WC Vendor, everything works as it should.

    Update!

I have now Inactivated all the plugins except for:
    WooCommerce
    WC Vendors

    And the issue still remains.

    If i Inactivate:
    WC Vendors Test Kassa

It works, nothing about any agreements.
So it’s somthing with WC Vendors now for sure!

So i decided to delete it, and reinstall it.
After activation i try to register again and now get:

ERROR: Please agree to the terms and conditions.

    —- UPDATE
So i found this old thread: https://www.wcvendors.com/help/topic/terms-and-conditions-box-not-showing-up-after-checking-apply-to-become-vendor/
And it should have been fixed, seems like it isnt.

    Then i found this:
    https://www.wcvendors.com/help/topic/required-check-terms-at-registration/

So i went to Display -> General and removed the Terms And Condition page.
    Now users can register.
It doesn’t fix the issue, as you can register without seeing the agreement, and ticking the box.

    Hello,

We do not recommend using the wp-login page for allowing users to register. You should only be using the WooCommerce registration system as this is what our registration system was written for.

Ive just checked our code and although we did have code in the system to allow vendors to register on the wp-login page, this was removed from 2.0 versions and up.

To have the terms pages work correctly you should disable the WordPress registration and enable the WooCommerce one.

    cheers,

    Jamie.
