Error on the settings page
-
Hi, Jaime, your plugin looks really promising! I’m surprised it has not gained any traction given the simple and intuitive interface that you’ve done for it!
I’ve been fiddling with the plugin locally and it all looked good but blocked IP address wasn’t really blocked, probably as it was 127.0.0.1, so I decided to test it on another site.
Sadly after installation and activation I get a fatal error upon accessing the settings page. Here’s the error:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Undefined constant "WGO_WP_UPLOAD_DIR" in /home/XXX/public_html/wp-content/plugins/whats-going-on/view/sub-main-chart.php:13 Stack trace: #0 /home/XXX/public_html/wp-content/plugins/whats-going-on/view/whats-going-on-view.php(74):
I had iThemes Security active at the time so probably it blocked writing to the wp-config.php file as it had the “Protect System Files” setting on. I removed the setting and tried deactivating and activating again your plugin but no change happened. I checked my local installation for the WGO_WP_UPLOAD_DIR constant, but it wasn’t present there, so it seems the problem might be elsewhere.
