    Hi, I am trying to setup a personal report under Settings > Personal > Email reports.

    When I try to send a test report, I get the following error:

    Date format must be: YYYY-MM-DD, or 'today' or 'yesterday' or any keyword supported by the strtotime function (see https://php.net/strtotime for more information): false

    Please advise.

    Hi @meir321, on the page where you click the “Send report now” link, can you check in your browser if the URL contains a &date=... parameter? If it does, can you post the part of URL that includes it (everything after the ? character)?

    If it doesn’t, can you try selecting a date in the period selector (the dropdown that lets you select a date/date range), then try sending the report?

    BTW, the report I created yesterday was gone and I created a new one for this.

    Hi @meir321, can you try selecting a day, week, month or year in the period selector:

    then try using the “Send Report Now” link? (“range” periods are not currently supported for email reports.)

    BTW, when I use the PDF option and click Send Email, I get an email without a PDF attached.

    @meir321 That might be due to another WordPress plugin interfering with sending attachments. Would you be able to share the list of plugins installed? Note: you can copy the list in matomo’s system report: https://matomo.org/faq/wordpress/how-do-i-find-and-copy-the-system-report-in-matomo-for-wordpress/

    @dizzyatinnocraft the reports get deleted after a few hours. The one I created before is gone again. Anything to check.

    Can it be related to:

    Your PHP cli does not load the MySQLi extension. You might have archiving problems in Matomo but also others problems in your WordPress cron tasks. You should enable this extension

    @meir321 No, it’s not related to that. It sounds like something might be deleting data from non-core WordPress database tables regularly, though that’s just a guess. Can you provide the system report I mentioned above? And let me know who your hosting provider is? You can email it to dizzy (at) innocraft (dot) com if you don’t want to post it here.
