Error on PHP7

  • Hello.

    I thought that W3 was compatible with PHP7.0?

    I’m getting this error on all my sites, when upgrading to PHP7.0:

    Warning: Parameter 1 to W3_Plugin_TotalCache::ob_callback() expected to be a reference, value given in <serverpath>/public/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3464

    When will this be fixed? I know there is a fix out there, but it would be nice not to have to manually do this on every single site i have.

  • sadly, the author has abandoned this plugin. For me, i’ve decided to fork and maintain my own custom version.

    Oh you got to be kidding me? A plugin with over 1 million active installs?
    But seems correct, no updates in 6 months.

    Well, that’s to bad, guess I need to be looking for an alternative. Got any suggestions?

    Any chance I could swipe your fork of this plugin? I understand I’d be using at my own risk and won’t bother you with questions if things don’t work.
