I am getting an error on my events. I tried resaving permalinks, I tried lowering the PHP version of the website but the error persists.

    This is the full error:

Warning: preg_match(): Compilation failed: two named subpatterns have the same name at offset 61 in …wp-content/plugins/wp-event-manager/core/wp-event-manager-date-time.php on line 168

Please let me know what is going on. Thank you.

    Hi @algala,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. This error is usually when there is some conflict with date form. Can you just try with three parameters in date format d m Y ?

We are working on all the format compatibility. In the upcoming version, it will be resolved.

    Thank you

    Hi,

I am confused on what you mean. I pick the date using a calendar picker, and the calendar sets the date. I did not type in the date manually. If I even try to type it in manually it doesn’t really work right.

Please explain better on how to fix this. Right now, the date for one of the events is listed as “7-11-2020” – I don’t understand what is wrong with this date. And if I try to add a zero in front of the month (07-11-2020) it gets removed after I save the page. So I have no idea how to fix this issue.

    Please advise, thank you.

    Hi @algala,

Issue is not datepicker format but issue is inside the date and time settings > View date format. Please change the value of view date format to d-m-Y

    Thank you

Okay great, that helps. I was able to find and change those settings and the error went away. Thank you for your assistance with this.

I just want to add here to say that m-d-Y works also.
