hi all sure I am not the only one but got the message

Your website is configured to use Universal Analytics which Google retired in July of 2023. Update your account using the setup assistant and then update your WooCommerce settings.

just checking can i just go to GA4, click on the web stream then copy the MEASUREMENT ID and past it under WooCommerce, settings, integration google anytlics, then were it says Google Analytics Tracking ID past the measurement id . or am i over complicating it

Yes that’s right! Once you’ve copied your new measurement ID from Google Analytics you would update the Google Analytics Tracking ID setting on your website and then you should notice that the warning about Universal Analytics no longer displays.

I’ll go ahead and mark this topic as resolved but do get back in touch with us if you run into any problems.

    Hi there,

Thanks for letting us know! Happy to hear this is sorted out. Have a great week! ??

I got the same error on my website. I wonder if there is more involved in this process? Like coding? Do I need to perform a backup of my website before making this change?

    Thank you.

    Hi @miochen

The process is quite straightforward. You just need to go to your GA4 (Google Analytics 4) account, click on the web stream, and copy the Measurement ID. After that, you can paste it under WooCommerce > Settings > Integration > Google Analytics, where it says Google Analytics Tracking ID.

I hope this helps! Please let us know how it goes or if you need further assistance.

The message is gone. Thank you.
