Error on homepage after –>2.7, but no error on rest of site.

    It’s only on the first page of the site;

    The error is :

    Warning: implode() [function.implode]: Invalid arguments passed in /home/hourican/public_html/wordpress/wp-includes/query.php on line 1805

    the error is in one of the sidebars as well, but doesn’t come up anywhere else on the site. I’ve checked wp-config to makesure there are no debug settings at true, but stumped. I’ve deactivated every plugin that could be remotely affecting it.

    Any help gratefully appreciated

    Hi there, only a theory, but I would try another theme and see if you still get the error, hope you get there. mike.

    Any pointers from anybody to what I should be looking at would be gratefully appreciated.

    I agree with mikey in that this is a theme related issue, most likely an odd function being used, or possibly a plugin that needs updating.

    Try it with –

    The default theme
    No widgets in the sidebar
    No plugins

    Then add stuff back in until you find out what causes it.

    If you get the error with the default theme and no plugins / widgets then re-fetch the release zip and upload the WordPress files again.

    I knew the theme wasn’t the problem as it’s PrimePress 1.2.2 by Ravi Varma https://www.techtrot.com/ and he’s pretty on the ball about stuff, so I took out the plugins and the offending article was ‘contentboxes 1.0.2’ by Ralf Hortt https://www.horttcore.de/.

    Everything’s tikity boo now.

    Your directions lead me to a degree of pragmatism that I should have discovered myself, so thanks.
