Error on Feed Generation

    Hello!

    We recently started getting emails “Error on Feed Generation”
    We have 6 feeds and we get error for 2 of them.

    The issues are:

    1. Even though only 2 feed seem to have the error, in the wp dashboard 4 feed are stuck to “processing” with the update button unavailable. If I open them there are no warnings. I do Purge Cache, then update and their status turn to “Completed”
    2. I have turned the logs on in the plugin and WP. Checking the plugins logs, they are both (for the problematic feeds) ok. They mention no errors, only INFO message and they end with an info msg about completed job of creating feed (message is show in our local language).
    3. In the WP log, the only issues related with are the following notice and warning (appearing multiple times):
    PHP Notice:  Uninitialized string offset: 0 in ..../wp-content/plugins/best-woocommerce-feed/admin/feed/abstract-rex-product-feed-generator.php on line 556
    PHP Warning:  Illegal string offset 'if' in ..../wp-content/plugins/best-woocommerce-feed/admin/feed/abstract-rex-product-feed-generator.php on line 556

    4. The only filters that are used in these feed are the Category Filters

    5. Yes, we use the strip tag filter for the description.

    The strangest thing is that when we check the temp-feed (link provided in the email), all the products are there!
    The only things that appear to be missing are the these closing tags:

    Checking a little further the problem seems to be here (its a facebook feed):

    get_items() in best-woocommerce-feed/admin/feed/abstract-rex-product-feed-generator.php

    Any suggestions for a fix until some official next version?

    Hi,

    We are extremely sorry that you are experiencing this issue.

    We have already identified the issue and our Devs are working on it.

    Hopefully we will release the fix in the next update.

    For now, if you want you can roll back to 7.2.35 version to avoid this issue.

    We are extremely sorry for the issue you are currently experiencing.

    We are working on the fix; hopefully we will release an update soon.

    In the meantime, can you please send the feed link & screenshot of feed attributes?here, so we can think of an alternative solution?
