Error on activation

    Hi,

    I’ve just installed your plugin following the install instructions, but after activation, I get a long error message at the top of the public web and the WordPress dashboard:

    Warning: fopen(): https:// wrapper is disabled in the server configuration by allow_url_fopen=0 in /usr/home/…

    After disabling the plugin everything looks normal again.

    Any idea of what’s going wrong? Thanks!

    no idea. That’s quite strange.

    I have identified a number of bugs today and just submitted a new release with fixes, v1.2.

    Please donwload and install this new version. If you still have the error upon activation, can you please post the entire error message here.

    I am also facing the same problem. After I re-installed the latest version, there are some errors incurred and unable to activate the plugin.

    Ooops, apologies, I forgot to svn add..., I am not very conversant in svn hence the omition.

    I have just committed the missing file, please download and re-install.

    Sorry for the delay, I’ve been on a short holiday this weekend.

    I’ve just updated to the last plugin version, and after activation the same error shows as before. I’m not sure if it’s caused directly by your plugin or maybe is a server config incompatibility?

    Hi,

    the plugin is unable to connect to the WordPress translation api archive to download the CF7 locales for the Polylang lnaguges you have enabled,

    1. Is your server connected to the Internet? If you are running as a localhost with no Internet connection then you will need to install the locales manually (please see the FAQ setion for help).

    2. Can you check you server php.ini settings. Make sure the flag allow_url_fopen is set to 1 (or ‘on’), this permits file access by URL. If you are unable to change your php.ini settings, then again, you will need to manually install the required locales (read the FAQ section for help).

    Mine is working. Thank you.

    But there is another error incurred after activation on network admin page.
