I went back to the admin page and now I also see this:

Error: SpamFireWall database is outdated. Please, try to synchronize with the cloud.

    Hello @alwayspaws.

Please click “Synchronize with Cloud” in the plugin settings and refresh the page.

If that doesn’t help, please, re-install the plugin with the Complete Deactivation option:
    1) WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Advanced settings —> set the option “Complete Deactivation” to “On” —> Save Changes;
    2) WordPress Admin Page —> Plugins —> Installed plugins —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Deactivate and Delete.
    3) Then install it anew: https://cleantalk.org/help/install-wordpress.

    Did it help?

    Hi, @eugenecleantalk,

I did this: Please click “Synchronize with Cloud” in the plugin settings and refresh the page.

I still see the errors. Should the errors have cleared up or do I have to wait 24 hours for the next status update? I’m referring to this:

“Account status updates every 24 hours.“

Otherwise, I’ll just follow the instructions to deactivate and reinstall the plug-in.

    Thank you very much!

Errors should be cleared immediately. Could you try the Complete Deactivation option?

    (@alwayspaws)

@sergecleantalk I explicitly followed the directions from Eugene and then from https://cleantalk.org/help/install-wordpress

    1. I synced with iCloud. Next, I logged out of admin and sent a test email. The contact form shows: ***Forbidden. Sender Blacklisted.*** That is a good result.

    2. Next, I did a test registration using the blacklisted e-mail [email protected]. I used username: CleanTalkTest. I got locked out by WordFence and sent email to them to unblock, so I can log into admin again.

    3. “To test if SpamFireWall is working just add /?sfw_test_ip=10.10.10.10 to your site name:” and use incognito mode. I used: https://alwayspaws.com/?sfw_test_ip=10.10.10.10

I opened a chrome incognito mode page and tested to see if cleantalk is working and I just saw my home page. No messages. This did not display: “Congratulations. The Anti-Spam is installed!”

    Thank you.

    Hello @alwayspaws.

    1. Good.

    2. I see in your logs that your request was blocked, as it should be. We have no information why you were blocked by the service WordFence.

    3. “Congratulations. The Anti-Spam is installed!” is our phrase in the installation guide, you won’t see it on the site. You should have seen the lock screen, but it doesn’t happen. Please enable the SpamFireWall option in the plugin settings, click “Synchronize with Cloud”, wait 10 minutes (this should definitely be enough to update the SpamFireWall localbase) and try again in incognito mode. Do you see the lock screen for 3 seconds?

    Hi, @eugenecleantalk,

I contacted WordFence, asking them what to configure so I don’t get locked out when I’m testing other plugins.

    2. SpamFireWall is already enabled and when I went to the cleantalk page, it was automatically synchronizing.

I don’t see a lock screen in either chrome incognito or safari private browsing.

    Hello.
The issue has been resolved on your side.
Please, check the Anti-Spam plugin settings. If the error still persists please click the button ‘Synchronize with Cloud’ (go to WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> gray button on the top of the page). Wait for a few minutes then refresh the page and check the result.

The problem is not resolved. I cleared all the cache for all time in Safari.

Went back to my plug-ins and looked at the CleanTalk settings and this is the result

    Hello, @alwayspaws.

Can you please see the support ticket I added to in regards to paying for a subscription?

I’ve answered you in the ticket, please, check.

    The problem is not resolved.

Please, deactivate the plugin with the “Complete deactivation” option enabled and then activate it again. It will force the plugin to re-create its tables in the website database.
    1. Enter the Antispam by Cleantalk plugin settings. (WordPress Dashboard -> Settings -> Antispam by Cleantalk -> Advanced settings)
    2. Check the last settings “Complete deactivation” and save changes.
    3. Deactivate the plugin on the “Plugins” page in WordPress Dashboard.
    4. Then activate it.
    5. Enter your access key in the plugin’s settings.
