Error occurred (choose another folder) and no backup starts

    Hi there,

    since about 2 oder 3 weeks i get this error message:
    Ordner /var/www/vhosts/xxxxxx.de/httpdocs/xxx-ordner/upload ist nicht erlaubt, bitte w?hle einen anderen.

    There will be no backup, no nothing at all. When i manually start the backup, then the above error occurred.

    Any ideas?

  • With Version of BackWPup did you use?
    It look like a permission problem. Or send me a complete debug log.

    Version is 3.2.1
    For unknown reasons the folder (upload) still doesn′t work at all. I set the permission to 777 (CHMOD) and tested other few things, but nothing changed … no backup starts and the error is still there.

    I solved it like this: create new folder (via FTP), set the new folder in the settings (BackWPup) and started a complete new backup job. It works.
