error nonce security check failed

    This happened to me 10 months ago, and now it’s happening again.

    I’m getting an error when I try to add items to the shopping cart.

    Error! Nonce Security Check Failed!

    When I’m logged into WordPress as an admin and test the shopping cart, it seems to work fine.

    It’s when I go to an incognito window that it breaks. I also have customers who get the error.

    From what I’ve read, I should install a cache plugin and delete the cache. Very confusing. I tried WP Faster Cache, but nothing improved.

    Hi, can you check to make sure you have enabled the following feature Disable Nonce Check for Add to Cart. This is located in Simple Cart -> Settings -> General Settings.

    I should install a cache plugin and delete the cache. Very confusing.

    Thanks, I’ll try that.

    The cache advice I found was from a google search. Not sure the site right now, but I can try looking it up again.
