    Hi,

I’ve properly configured everything; at least, so it seems, and no posts are displayed on my page. It just says Unable to display Facebook posts. Error: No posts available for this Facebook ID.

Entered Facebook ID and Access Token.
    Shortcode: [custom-facebook-feed]

  • Hey Burrt,

Thank you for reaching out with your inquiry. You are receiving this response because the Facebook account 100011631758733 is a Profile account and Facebook deems all Profile accounts to be restricted and private outside of the Facebook program.

You will experience the same error when testing the account ID 100011631758733 within our demo here.

The easiest way to check whether you’re trying to display posts from a personal profile instead of a page or group is to view your page and see whether you have ‘Friends’, ‘Likes’ or ‘Members’. Profiles have ‘Friends’, pages have ‘Likes’ and groups have ‘Members’. If you have ‘Friends’ then it’s not a page or a group, it’s a personal profile.

You can find out how to convert your profile account to a page account in the first question listed on this page along with other information relating to Profile accounts.

We are happy to assist further if needed. In the meantime, I hope your week is going well.

    Thank you for your response!
My bad, i was taking the problem to a much higher level..I’ve created a page now and it seems to work fine.

I don’t know if i have to start a new thread about this, but it doesnt seem to share the status location (the maps icon). Is there a possibility to do this?

    Thanks again!

    Hey buurtpreventiepict3,

It should display a link to the location in the post (but doesn’t display the maps icon itself), as shown in our demo here: https://smashballoondemo.com/?id=1164801530226914. Is it possible to send us a link to the page on your website where you’re displaying the feed so that we can take a look at how it’s currently displaying? The only Facebook feed I was able to find on your website was on your home page but is using a different plugin.

    Many thanks,

    John
