    Hello,

Broadbean have contacted me and said they’re having a couple of integration issues.

    They said the following:

    1. We are not getting the response when we apply to the posted job.
    2. There is no search option at the moment. Can you please take a look at it? When we view your Vacancy page we get the message “Error: No job reference detected!”

I can see their test jobs in the ‘Wp Broadbean’ > ‘Jobs’ section, so should they be showing up on our vacancies page?

As always, your help is much appreciated.

If applications are not being received by Broadbean the first thing to do is to check whether the emails are being sent. Does you site manage to send emails for other things, such as password resets etc.?

In terms of the search, the plugin does not come with a specific search functionality. However the jobs are stored as standard WordPress post data in a custom post type with additional taxonomies and meta data. Therefore you would need to look into adding your own search or use the standard WordPress search widget that would include job titles and description in your searches.

All of the jobs will show on the jobs archive page for the custom post type that is created which resides at domain.com/jobs/
