Sorry my mistake. It just simply lost the group ID that needed to be set in the widgets.

Due to a earlier applied bugfix you may need to reset the ID’s on some or all of your AdRotate widgets ??

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

This is annoying! The update stripped out the ad id I was using and has been displaying an error since I upgraded until I noticed just now. There should have been a warning included with the update.

It’s been announced on the blog.
I could have put it in the changelog also – But past experiences show that nobody reads those either.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

… sorry for the inconvenience? seriously? why strip it? you should pull that “upgrade.” that’s garbage.

I am so confused. What do I need to do to fix the error? This is the 2nd time AdRotate has broken in 3 days.

Oh — I figured it out — You go into your Widgets and you’ll see your ID numbers are all blank. Replace the blank spaces with the correct AdRotate ID numbers.

Thanks hunter44, very helpful. My ID # was still there (not blank) but I did need to click on the “Save” button to get the plugin working again. I always dread updates for this very reason. Time consuming and not cool.

My IDs were still in the widgets and I clicked on “save” like Cindytc but still get this error message:
Error, no Ad ID set! Check your syntax!

    Help!

    Dear Arnan!

I use the newest version (Adrotate, 3.14), but when I try to create a new ads, it appears this error message:

Error, no Ad ID set! Check your syntax!

Note: While this preview is an accurate one, it might look different then it does on the website.
This is because of CSS differences. Your themes CSS file is not active here!

I use shortcodes in the old advertisement, which is working, BUT I can’t change a name of short code.

    Thank you!

@anand15 – Start a new topic next time, your question has nothing to do with this old thread.
Click, the obvious big green “upgrade now” button at the top of your dashboard to update your database.

Sorry, and thanks your kindness! All the best!
