error missing required attribute product_applicability promotion_effective_dates

    Google merchant centre is giving us the following errors. I added the missing attributes in your plugin, but cannot add ‘product_applicability’ and ‘promotion_effective_dates’ as the save button does not work when these names are entered as custom field names with static value =’ ‘.

    Am I right to understand you are trying to create a merchant promotion feed? Our plugin does not have an out-of-the-box template for this yet so I assume you tried creating a custom feed?

    When the ‘save’ button does not work like you mentioned changes are that an error notification is showing on top of the page. Did it show and if so, what is the message?

    FYI, we have just pushed out a new version of the plugin (2.6.3) that contains a Google Merchant Promotions feed template. That mights be helpful to you?

    yes, save was not working and no errors were shown. The save button just did not work with those values entered.
