Error messege

  • Every time I try to install a template I get this message
    Could not create directory. / home/u455045741/public_html/wp-content/themes/frau
    And I don’t know why… I’ve done up first the decompressed file to filezilla, I have also tried uploading the theme zip directly from the dashboard .. but I get the same message

  • Try changing the permissions on the wp-content directory to 766. If you still have problems, try 767, 775 or 777. Once your uploads are working, change the permissions on wp-content back to 755 again and check that everything still works OK.

    Thank you Esmi, but I still have the problem… I changed the permissions and it doesn’t work… I change the wp-content, wp-admin, wp-includes…index… but nothing…
    I don’t know what is happening…

    Try asking your hosts to check whether you have a folder ownership issue.
