This issue has been posted before. Unfortunately, the error messages still appear in the wrong language. Everything is set up correctly. Does the PRO version have the same problem?

  • A few months ago, I updated the pro version to fix a similar issue, and according to all reports, this problem in the Pro version has been resolved. However, the solution was to add the translation files in the same WordPress folder that WordPress saves its translation files, so it’s very strange that the free version is experiencing this in some cases.

Could you provide some more information on What you seeing?
What language is your site in and what language is showing?

Also Could you go to my website kccomputing.net and provide me with your site health information via the contact form?

This will help me determine if there is something unique about your site that may be causing the translations not to work correctly.
Here is a YouTube link with instructions on how to provide site health information if you need it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3PmeaOeO4d4

    Thank you.

    Hi Kyle,
thank you very much for the prompt reply. Strange is, that the language files do work. I can easily change the other strings, but not the error messages. First language is german, second is english. On this site we use qtranlate-x. With the PRO version activated it is even worse, since the manually set captcha messages is shown for both languages. On another site we use the PRO version with WPML and string translation which works perfectly fine.

I’ll send you the health report in a few minutes.

    Thanks, Mike

    Hi Mike,
It looks like the translation issue has returned for the PRO version as well from what I’m seeing on the site I use for testing.

I think something must have changed with some of the recent WordPress updates on how they access the language files since I last fixed this issue last August.

I’m looking into the issue for both the free and Pro version and will keep you updated on the issue.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience, I had thought this issue was finally resolved last year.
