    Hello!

My users are getting their emails in the spam folder again. When I first installed Post SMTP, I had this problem but with the help of my hosting provider we fixed it. Now I’m getting the error “Postman is not configured and is mimicking out-of-the-box WordPress email delivery”. Also, “Postman will send mail via Sendmail (server default – not SMTP) to localhost:25 using no authentication”. Can someone help me? I’m using the “default’ type under transport. Fallback is disabled. I tried enabling use SMTP Authentication and filling in the username and password.

    Connectivity test results are below.

    Hi @therealblatino

I hope you are doing well.

It seems that Post SMTP hasn’t been configured properly with your email account. You can configure your email account with Post SMTP by following the guide document here. Once configured, please let me know the outcome.

Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks and regards,

    Hello Muhammad

I’m doing well and I hope you are too.

I configured it properly with my email address where I created it using cPanel. The error messages are gone, however the emails are still going to the “spam” folder. I just tested it myself and the email went to the “spam” folder. I uploaded a screenshot of my settings. Does everything think alright? My hosting provider told me to connect to “localhost”. I assume I put it in the correct section. They also told me to use port 25. Admin@ is my email address where I send users emails.

It seems like your email spam score is low. Try adding your SPF and DKIM records to your hosting server, then test your email spam score and let me know the outcome.
