Error Messages on Customizer and Widget Site

    Hello,

    when calling the customizer or the widget settings the following error messages come up:

    Warning: Attempt to read property “ID” on null in /var/www/fotos/wp-content/plugins/translatepress-multilingual/includes/class-translation-manager.php on line 500

    Warning: Attempt to read property “post_status” on null in /var/www/fotos/wp-content/plugins/translatepress-multilingual/includes/class-translation-manager.php on line 502

    Warning: Attempt to read property “ID” on null in /var/www/fotos/wp-content/plugins/translatepress-multilingual/includes/class-translation-manager.php on line 504

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already send by (output startet at /var/www/fotos/wp-content/plugins/translatepress-multilingual/includes/class-translation-manager.php:500) in /var/www/fotos/wp-admin/customize.php on line 126

    The plugin still works, just have concerns that an update will change this.

    Maybe the error is known.

    Do you use the latest version of our plugin, v.2.3.3?

    Hi,

    yes, I use the version 2.3.3. and the latest wordpress version.

    In a test environment I have deactivated all other plugins. The error remains.

    I remember that the error occurred sometime when I accidentally translated a draft in preview. But it can also be just a coincidence.

    Hi, after some “playing around” I found out that the problem arises only after updating from version 2.3.3. with version 2.3.1. everything runs without errors, after updating the error occurs.

    Why did I not try this first ;-). things happen …

    Let me know if the error still appears with the actual version of TranslatePress.

    Hi Alex,

the error messages appear also in the latest version 2.3.7 (WP 6.02). In the WordPress theme "Twenty Twenty" the error messages appear as well.

The error could be related to the management of the widgets by the block editor. If I install the plugin "Classic Widgets", which enables the classic widgets settings views and disables the block editor, the error does not appear.
