Error messages missing

Hello,

On the User Profile Edit page, if a required field is left empty, there is no longer an error message that appears. Last time I tested this was about two weeks ago and the error messages did appear as red boxes if a required field was left empty. Now they do not appear. I wasn’t even aware that there was a setting to turn this off, so I don’t know why this is happening. I have searched all UM settings several times and cannot find any such setting. What can I do to have the error messages appear again?
