Error messages in admin

  • Plugin settings page in WP Admin shows error messages:
    Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user ‘backlinksadmin’@’localhost’ (using password: YES) in /home/maxvseo/public_html/maxvim.com/private/classes/DBManager.php on line 30

    Fatal error: Access denied for user ‘backlinksadmin’@’localhost’ (using password: YES) in /home/maxvseo/public_html/maxvim.com/private/classes/DBManager.php on line 30

    I was unable to determine that the plugin actually works. I don’t like code that tries to connect elsewhere without my knowledge.

    Although I uninstalled the plugin right way, I wonder if I invited trouble by installing it.
