    Hi,

I have set up Cluevo on our homepage and also set the permissions for all user groups to have the test course visible. But when I open the relevant page as a guest user (not logged in), I always get the error message “You are not currently logged in.”

So how can I give non-logged-in users access to the course?

    Thank you and kind regards,
    Chris

    Have a nice afternoon Chris,

Thank you for your message. Regarding your question. There is in CLUEVO User Management the group “Guest” with this group you regulate the access of users who are not logged in.

    Best regards, Enver

    Hi Enver,

thank you for your reply! I have set up the “Guest” user group already, but as soon as I click on the course as a guest, I get an error message popup, stating: “You are not currently logged in.”

That is the problem which I try to solve.

    Kind regards,
    Chris

    Hi Chris,
We will do our best to assist you with this, please answer following questions so we can understand your problem better:

What WordPress Version are you on?
What CLUEVO version are you on?
So you have granted access to the guest group like described in our tutorial video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1Wg2Y_4M_0 ?
Is the problem maybe cache related? Please try to disable all caching plugins, and clear you browser cache.
Do you have any member plugins installed which prevent not logged in users from viewing some of the content on your website?
Does the error message come from WordPress itself or is it a CLUEVO Message? Maybe you could provide a screenshot from the error message.

    greetings,
    Elias

    Hi Elias,

thank you for your support! Much appreciated!

Currently we are on WordPress Version 5.6.4 and CLUEVO Version 1.6.2. There are no caching plugins installed on our website and there are also no member plugins.

I have set up a new site (www.karrierevielfalt.at/e-learning) with a test course. As long as I am logged-in in WordPress, the course will start normally. However, when I am logged-out, an error message stating “You are not currently logged in” will pop up.

It looks like the error message is a CLUEVA error message. Here you can find a screenshot: https://ibb.co/ggCpN2P

    Thank you and kind regards,
    Chris

    Hi,

It seems as if something is blocking the wordpress API for all none logged in users. This Message comes from WordPress itself or some security plugin and not from CLUEVO. The same message is shown when i try to access any API route on your website for example: https://www.karrierevielfalt.at/wp-json/

I hope this helps. If you need further assistance with this, please use the ticket system on our website cluevo.at -> produkte und dienstleistungen -> support.
There we are able to help you in a more direct way ( und dort k?nnen wir auch deutsch schreiben ?? )

    Greetings,

    Hi Elias,

    Liebe Grü?e,
    Chris
