This is two error messages I am getting and not sure what to do? I am using yoast the free version and don’t have to so I am wondering what I should do here?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you

We have detected the following issues that affect the SEO of your site.

The Google XML Sitemaps plugin might cause issues when used in conjunction with Yoast SEO.

Both Yoast SEO and Google XML Sitemaps can create XML sitemaps. Having two XML sitemaps is not beneficial for search engines, yet might slow down your site.

Configure Yoast SEO’s XML Sitemap settings

    Deactivate Google XML Sitemaps

The Head, Footer and Post Injections plugin might cause issues when used in conjunction with Yoast SEO.

Both Yoast SEO and Head, Footer and Post Injections create OpenGraph output, which might make Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social networks use the wrong texts and images when your pages are being shared.

    Configure Yoast SEO’s OpenGraph settings

Deactivate Head, Footer and Post Injections

The error you’re seeing is because of these two following 3rd party plugins:

        Google XML Sitemaps
        Head, Footer and Post Injections

The Yoast SEO generates an advanced XML Sitemap. So, you won’t need to have any additional 3rd party (Google XML Sitemaps) XML Sitemaps Generator plugin on your site.

On the other hand, the Yoast SEO generates all the necessary social open graph meta. So, you won’t need to have any additional 3rd party plugins to generate the social open graph meta on your site.

Please, deactivate the two 3rd party plugins and which should resolve this issue.

Thank you, Is the open graph meta a plug in? Is the yoast seo enough for my seo if I am not going to upgrade?

    Thank you

    Hi Denise,

The OpenGraph is the type of data Facebook uses to display images, titles and descriptions when you share a post. Most plugins which optimize for social media output this data (Yoast SEO and premium both do this). Having many social media plugins on your site means that you may have conflicting OpenGraph data. This may then confuse Facebook as to what exactly it should be showing.

While we are not sure what exactly you are look for when it comes to sharing posts on Facebook, we do know that for most users Yoast SEO (free and premium) is good enough (at least to start off with). In this manner, to resolve the issue we suggest two actions:

    A. Disable the OpenGraph data in the free plugin by going to SEO-Social-Facebook and use the OpenGraph data that gets outputted by Head, Footer and Post Injections plugin.

    B. Disable the Head, Footer and Post Injections plugin entirely and just stick with Yoast.
