    Hi Folks:
I am using FeedWordPress as an RSS agregator.

I am receiving an error that happens maybe once an hour at each site. I have tried different templates/themes and receive the same error.

    Here is the Error:

Warning: array_map() [function.array-map]: The first argument, ‘map_attrs’, should be either NULL or a valid callback in /home/learnthe/public_html/blog/wp-includes/rss.php on line 166

Warning: join() [function.join]: Bad arguments. in /home/learnthe/public_html/blog/wp-includes/rss.php on line 166

It happens on different domains (different databases).
    Example sites are: learntheology.com/blog/
    and mom4jesus.com

The errors repeat on the home page about 15 times. Sometimes I have to wait and then hit refresh several timesa and they go away.

Also, I have the latest version of both WordPress and FeedWordPress.

    Thanks for any help.
    Matthew

Hi.. I just wanted to let everyone no what the problem was.

One of the RSS feeds had/has something wrong with it. It appears that when WordPress tried to read it, it would cause an error. I accidentally/quessed at which one was causing problems. It was an “atom” feed, so I switched the feed to 2.0 RSS from the same site, and it works like a charm now.

    Hi weczone, Hi All,

I have the same issue in my wp 2.3.2 installation. Using the rss widget that comes by default in wp.

I don’t expect that this issue were so hard to find (explanation, solution). And I’m not sure what is exactly the solution, in despite of the comments of wczone.

If you introduce in google this string:
“wp-includes/rss.php on line” The first argument, map_attrs
You will find a lot of “error logs” of other wordpress with the same problem.
    My error-log is:
    ************
[03-Feb-2008 19:16:18] PHP Warning: array_map() [function.array-map]: The first argument, ‘map_attrs’, should be either NULL or a valid callback in /usr/home/dedalos/public_html/wp-includes/rss.php on line 166
[03-Feb-2008 19:16:18] PHP Warning: join() [function.join]: Bad arguments. in /usr/home/dedalos/public_html/wp-includes/rss.php on line 166
    ************
And, as I see, this problem could be solved temporally by switching the theme of the blog.

Please, Could someone give me some explanation about that?. I’m sure it’ll very appreciated not only for me.

    Thank very much.
    Roy
