Error message with Paypal

This is such a difficult one to diagnose. PayPal give you no clues as to the cause of the problem.

However, as I suggested in my email reply, you need SSL on your site if you want to use PayPal.

We’ve installed an SSL certificate (which we needed to do anyway, so thanks for the reminder! ??

But the plug in still isn’t working. We’d really love to continue using it as it’s by far the best solution we’ve found – any ideas as to what we could try next?

It could be Chrome blocking cookies.

It can only be a problem with your settings or your PayPal account.

I’ve tested the plugin on all browsers with all sorts of configurations and it works.

Can you try this form using your Chrome: https://testblog.co.uk/paypal/

If it works then it suggests something isn’t right with your setup. Are you using IPN?

I just tried BOTH yours and mine.

And BOTH work.

I spoke with PayPal.

They say it is a very common phenomena with Safari and Chrome since those browsers constantly update in the background.

They said FireFox and IE have less intermittent issues due to less real-time browser updates in the background.
