    Hi,

I got the following error message (in German) when I displaced an existing table with a table with 1950 rows:

“Eine Webseite verlangsamt Ihren Browser. Was soll getan werden?”

    And as possible answers:

    “Webseite anhalten” or “Warten”

I used “Webseite anhalten”. Then I could save the table.

Was this correct? Which webpage could this be which slows the browser? Why does it only happen with large tables?

Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

    Best regards

    Albert

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

The reason for this is the large number of input fields on that screen. The browser then needs a lot of time to work with all these fields.
I suggest to use a modern browser here, like Chrome or Firefox. They are usually faster with handling the JavaScript code.

Alternatively, you’d have to fall back to managing the table data offline, e.g. in Excel, and then re-import the table as a CSV file again.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Thanks Tobias,

I used Firefox and a CSV file.

    Hi Albert,

can you maybe also try Chrome or even the new Microsoft Edge?
And if you imported the table, it is already saved, i.e. you don’t have to click “Save” again and can indeed leave the open tab via “Webseite anhalten”.

    Regards,
    Tobias
