Error message while attempted to proceded "Setting" for WPB2D

    Greeting to plugin author:

    I got an error message after I installed the plugin in a managed multi-site and attempted to proceeded setting for the plugin, the error message shown as follow:

    Error

    There was a fatal error loading WordPress Backup to Dropbox. Please fix the problems listed and reload the page.

    If the problem persists please re-install WordPress Backup to Dropbox.

    Error message: WordPress Backup to Dropbox failed to initialize due to these database errors.

    Specified key was too long; max key length is 1000 bytes

    Same issue here – plugin working fine on another WP installation running on the same host and created using the same script. Would love a fix for this.

    To whom it may concern:

    Since the author of the plugin does not attempt to reply to the questions in this thread and I still receive following notifications from this thread from other questioners, I suggest, if I may, the other questioners try another plugin, such as Updraftplus is generally working.
