Error message when uploading images

  • After installing 3.5 I get the following error message
    “an error occurred in the upload please try again later”
    when I upload images.

    I also can’t see any of the images that were perviously uploaded.

    I found a post that has a lot of trouble shooting help for 3.5 (wish I had NEVER updated).
    I found this crazy htlm madness which makes zero sense to me to fix the issue of not being able to view library and set featured image.

    I know others are having this issue and I have not found a post that solves the problem.

    Sadly, I’m not that techie. Is there an ‘easy’ fix to this?
    If so, can you speak to me as if you were speaking to a 3 year old ??
