Error message when updating blog posts
-
Hello, since moving my site over to WordPress, I’ve often received an error message when I try to make updates, especially when I update blog posts.
The error message says, “Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 6281761 bytes) in /home4/willowpaule/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1171”
When I searched here in support, it looks like I should disable plugins and see if they are the culprits. Is it also possible that the theme itself could cause this error?
I am on a shared server, and I asked my host to increase my server memory from 56mb to 256mb. That should be enough, right? They seemed to think so.

Yoast SEOSince this has been happening (almost 99% sure with same exact error message) since the beginning of being hosted, should I look at closely at plugins that were installed in the beginning, or does this point more to it being a theme issue? Thank you for your help in advance!
