I am trying to create an Abandoned Cart trigger/email message with ShopMagic Abandoned Cart plugin. I go to save my automation and I get an error message Failed to set data for key_action 4855. Any ideas how to fix this?

    Hi eperatopoulos?

    Many thanks for contacting us.

In that case, please send us a screenshot of you automation configuration. It should include all information: what event you use, if you have any filters set up and most important, the whole action settings.

    This would help us investigate.

Can you delete the action, save it and add it again?

    Kind regards,

Hi ShopMagic Support – I have created a loom video for your reference in the issue that I am having with a particular client of mine when trying to set up an automation for the Abandoned Cart.

    Hi eperatopoulos?

Try deleting the action and adding it again? Also, please check if there is an emoji somewhere in the action, e.g. in the title or in the email — sometimes using emoji on some databases could crash.

I see that there is a shopping cart icon in the email header. Can you remove it?

    Hi eperatopoulos?

As we haven’t got any replies, I’m marking this topic as resolved for now.

It did not fix the problem. Like I said, I have several other clients that I am using it on their websites and it works fine. Here is the sample of an Abandoned Cart email message – https://snipboard.io/Jc2Zqe.jpg from one of my clients. As you can see it has the cart icon in the title. The only thing I can think of is that the client with the problem is using the Enfold theme.

    Hi eperatopoulos

Ok. In that case, please try to isolate an issue, by disable plugins which are not our or WooCommerce.?Then please enable plugins individually, delete the cache, and check if the problem still exists.

If yes, please?test the?plugin?again, but now using?Storefront?– the official WooCommerce theme. It will help us identify a possible conflict with your theme.

Such testing on a ‘live’ shop is not the best idea. It’s better to do it on a copy, which you can prepare with WP Staging. It’s a free and simple plug-in – with it, you can prepare a copy with just a few clicks.

Please, let me know about the result.

If the problem persists after disabling plugins, changing the theme, I suspect the problem may be on the server side.

Are all the sites you mentioned on the same server?

    Best Regards,
