Error message when trying to add a new category

Add this code into wp-config.php file

define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M');

or

If you have access to your PHP.ini file, change the line in PHP.ini. If your line shows 32M try 64M:
memory_limit = 64M ;
Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (64MB)

Thanks Clarion. I just tried the first but it does not work.

For the 2nd, I don’t know where or how to access PHP.ini file.

Anyone with some more suggestions please?

Create new php.ini file in site root folder , open in text editor add memory_limit.
