Error message when sending mail

    Hello, I am using contact form 7 on my site and am having problem with the sending/receiving of messages.

    Whenever I try to send a message i get the error “Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.” this is not surrounded by a coloured box of any kind.

    I have searched through your FAQ and found the topic ‘Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.’ which states that depending on if the box is red or orange the way to fix it is different however I cannot find out what to do when there is no colour.

    or you might need to use a plugin like Cimy Swift SMTP as your php default mail function might be disabled

    First of all, thank you for replying to my post. This had been driving me crazy!

    Secondly, I have managed to solve the issue by using Cimy Swift SMTP as well as a couple of other tricks added into the form code from the post you showed me.

    Though the plugin successfully sends millions of emails every day, there are a host of issues that can delay or stop emails on both the sending and receiving ends of a typical email. It depends entirely on your local configuration.
