Error message when plugin activated

  • Dear WP Importer developers,

    Error message:
    WP_Import::bump_request_timeout() should be compatible with WP_Importer::bump_request_timeout($val) in /var/www/web78/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-importer/wordpress-importer.php on line 38

    I am not a developer and I am not going to tweak the code. Is this plugin still working reliably? Or can you recommend a working alternative?

    This plugin is still working reliably. I’ll get the error passed along, but it doesn’t impact the functionality of the plugin.
