    Recently an error message appears in the Developer Console

    (index):1 Unchecked runtime.lastError: Could not establish connection. Receiving end does not exist.

    Solved. A chrome extension caused this error.

    Which chrome extension did you find caused the error?

    I don’t remember which extention caused the error. To find out which extension caused the error, I first disabled all of them and then reactivated one by one.
