    Hi all,

On an Italian-English bilingual site with Polylang I’m trying to translate into English the error message that appears if you enter the wrong code.
It is displayed correctly in Italian but on the contact page in English it is not translated.
Obviously in the “messages” section it is not there and therefore it is not possible to change that string.
I’ve already read other threads on the subject but I can’t find the solution. Can you give me some advice on how to solve this problem?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Francus

Which version of WordPress do you use on the site?

Hi, thank you for your kind reply.
The latest version of WP is installed on the site, 6.2.2.
After writing the thread I found the multilingual issue in the documentation and looking with the inspector I discovered that the module is it_IT.
In a local installation I did the test, changed the user to en_GB as language, and recreated a new contact module.
The new module appears as en_GB with the inspector and also all strings are now in English without having to translate manually.
But the string for which I ask for help, that of the error in entering the invalid code, is still in Italian.
    Some idea?
    Thanks in advance,
    Francus

    See Contact Form 7 4.3

Follow the instruction to use Really Simple CAPTCHA. Then try editing the message in the Messages tab.
