I have a question about data in the “Next Run (UTC-4)” column on the Cron Events page. If there’s an entry that looks like this:

    2020-09-02 22:39:12
! 2 days 11 hours ago (this line of text is red)

Does that mean the event was successfully completed or that the event failed to occur? I would assume it means it failed but I want to make sure.

    Thanks!

This means the event failed to run. If the event has missed its time by more than about ten minutes then that means there’s a problem with the cron event runner on your site. Is there also an error message to this affect at the top of the page?

    Yes. The error messages says:

There was a problem spawning a call to the WP-Cron system on your site. This means WP-Cron events on your site may not work. The problem was:
cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 3001 milliseconds

My web host (Website Source) says they can’t find any problems on their end. Anything I should point them to?

That’s a bit of a mystery error. It indicates a network problem with your site. Sorry but I can’t help any more, I would contact your host and send them that error message.
