When I deactivate the plugin it crashes my website. On some of my pages, I get the message: “There has been a critical error on this website. Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress. ” How do I deactivate and remove your plugin without breaking my website?

    Thanks,

    Jim

If this is on the frontend, then it’s possible your active theme has some dependencies on the content types or taxonomies, and code is causing fatal errors because they’re no longer available.

Without knowing the actual errors, it’s impossible for me to make any suggestions.

Thanks Michael, Thanks for the reminder that I could turn on the error tracking. I’ve had a look and was able to removed code from my functions file that was related to custom posts. That seems to have sorted it. Thanks.
