Error message on Checkout

  • Using Version 3.0.8

    Checked out on my shop at localhost.

    PayPal took all my correct details and returned me to “Confirm your PayPal Order”

    When I clicked “Place Order” got this error message:-

    Billing County is not valid. Please enter one of the following: Clare, Cork, Cavan, Carlow, Donegal, Dublin, Galway, Kildare, Kilkenny, Kerry, Longford, Louth, Limerick, Leitrim, Laois, Meath, Monaghan, Mayo, Offaly, Roscommon, Sligo, Tipperary, Waterford, Westmeath, Wicklow, Wexford

    Are you sure you’re using our plugin? We don’t have any buttons that use the verbiage “Confirm Your PayPal Order” and we also don’t have anything going on with county specific locations. That sounds like that must be coming from some other plugin you have running..??

    I have five active plugins WooCommerce PayPal Express Checkout Gateway Version 1.4.0 and WooCommerce by Automattic 3.0.8.

    Other Plugins:-

    Contact Form 7
    MailChimp for WordPress
    Yoast SEO

    Okay, yeah, we are not the developers for WooCommerce PayPal Express Checkout Gateway. We are the developers of “PayPal for WooCommerce”, which is a separate plugin that also supports Express Checkout and many other PayPal products.

    If you need support with their plugin you’ll need to contact them directly. If you’d like to switch to our plugin for Express Checkout (I think you’d like it) then I’d be happy to help you with that.
