error message on “add new themes” page

hello!
i’m new to WordPress and i don’t know any PHP-i just installed
WP on my server (fatcow) and i get this message when i click
on the “Add New Themes” button:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING in /hermes/web05/b867/moo.pattydc/wp/wp-admin/includes/theme-install.php on line 309

i have no clue what this means! i’ve tried redoing my wp-config.php page several times, and no luck. and i’ve tried replacing the theme-install.php page.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
