Error message not displaying

    I installed 2.7
    installtion is suceess
    when I enter wrong user id or password the login page displays atext field with red back ground but does not display error message

    Same happens when I try to register (with Sabre or Register Plus)

    I deactivated all plug-ins but still same

    I upgraded to 2.7.1 through automatic upgrade, it was again successful but I still do not get error messages displayed.

    Should I re-install WP.

    I reinstalled the WP 2.7.1 afresh and there was no issue.

    Then I installed my theme “Gandhi” and problem started.

    The theme gandhi seems to have problem. I have posted a query with its author.

    Can anyone help how to work around
