Error message linked to this plugin when updating other plugins

I am getting a similar message:

I too am getting this. I have to deactivate the plugin before updating any others. This seems to work as when I reactivate I do not get an error message.

I think this error is from the new “ads” the author is promoting on the “welcome page”. The Ad was probably removed –

…which would appear that the same lines of code as those mentioned above are affected.

Some websites get this problem. It may be a problem when there is a cache plugin activated, and if the website gets a lot of traffic.

But those websites with little traffic do not seem to get this issue. As of now, still not resolved even with the latest update….

This issue fixed in the 12.4.1, please make sure you use the latest version.

If the problem is still there, please tell me the current version and the active plugins you have installed.

My plugin version is 12.4.1 as I said (latest version). And the active plugins are too many to list down for one site, but for another site that also has this problem, the plugins are…

Many of these plugins are also being used on other sites so, I cannot see why only some sites have this problem, except that the error message happens if the site gets a lot of visitors, because this slows down the plugin.

I think you need to remove your splash page, because it is quite annoying to be honest, and if the splash page fails to display for any reason, then maybe this error message comes out.

On a related issue, on one of my sites, this annoying splash page cannot even be removed easily. When I click WP dashboard or home, it still goes to this splash page. The splash page has taken over my dashboard link and I had to deactivate the plugin on account of that stupid splash page.

I am very sure, I am not the only one who does not like this splash page and it is giving problems as you can see!
