Error Message: Invalid jQuery UI-Configuration

  • Dear support team,

    since a few moments, Advanced File Manager is not working anymore in my environment, neither in the backend, nor in the frontend.

    I am receiving the following message anywhere I use the related shortcode:
    “Ungültige jQuery UI-Konfiguration. Die Komponenten Selectable, Draggable und Droppable müssen inkludiert sein.”, which means something like
    “Invalid jQuery UI-Configuration. The components selectable, draggable and droppable must be included.”

    As I did not change anything in my site, I have no clue, where to dig.

    I am using jQuery Migrate Helper, but the error message appears with or without jQuery Migrate Helper activated.

    Even de-installing and re-installing Advanced File Manager does not help.

    Could you please help me to find a solution?

    Dear @modalweb,

    with a number of in-between updates, the described error disappeared – at least for the time being.

    However, your plugin is still interfering with a plugin called “Ditty News Ticker”.

    When your shortcode is active, a jQuery-function of Ditty is no longer considered as defined.

    You will find a sample page with your plugin shortcode deactivated and another one with your plugin shortcode activated.

    The news ticker will only work, if your shortcode is not active. You will see the related function error in the browser’s source code window.

    Dear @modalweb,

    coming back to my last reply, I found that your plugin does not only interfere with “Ditty News Ticker” but at the same time (and on the same page) with a plugin called “WP Photo Album Plus” as well.

    Wouldn’t you agree that it is worth trying to eliminate this interference?

    Maybe, the source is finally not Advanced File Manager (a plugin I like a lot).

    I re-opened this thread as “unresolved”, hoping that you will agree.
