Error message in Poste Canada Plug-in – at your earliest convenience please!!

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I’m writing to you concerning an ERROR MESSAGE that we encounter on the website https://www.produitsol.com. In DEBUG MODE we get this message:
    “Sorry, but you cannot run this plugin, it requires the SimpleXML library installed on your server/hosting to function”.
    Could you please let me know the exact location (folder), where the Simple XML should be installed ? We’e tried a few locations but nothing seems to work.

    As https://www.produitsol.com is a bilingual website, we need to have all the Canada Post information in both langages.
    I’d like to know please, if the Canada Post plugin is compatible with WPML, in order for the website to display your information in French too.

    As the website launch is due soon, could you please consider a response at your earliest convenience?!

  • The installation of SimpleXML Library may vary upon the OS used by the server. You can ask your service provider to install that on your server.

    Currently, our plugin does not have support in French, However, we are looking out for a possibility to implement a solution for this very problem.

    We will do this on next update.

    Is it mandatory to install SimpleXML ? Or when we download the plugin it downloads itself on the server?

    Is there a way we can have the english information on our french version ? If so, how ? Can you help us to make it happen?

    Yes, its mandatory to install SimpleXML.

    Currently, we have the plugin available only in English. In next release, it will be available in both English and French.

    Meanwhile, is there any way that we can have the info of your plugin in our french interface even if the info is in english?

    Do you have any other plugin compatible with WPML in order for us to have the informations in both languages? If yes, tell me please where can i download it. If not, are there any other options available while waiting the next release?

    Hi Honokmedia,

    Our premium plugin of Canada post will support the French language also. But unfortunately, it will take some more days to update Basic version. Please be patient until next release or you can go for the premium.
